Documentation Required for Your Jamaica Wedding:

The listed documents (where applicable) must be forwarded and received at least 30 days before the desired wedding date.

• Use of a courier service is recommended as regular mail may be unreliable.
• Notarized copies of bride's and groom's birth certificates. Photo I.D.
• Passport or Driver's License
• Proof of divorce (if applicable)-notarized copy of Final Divorce Decree
• Notarized copy of Death Certificate in the case of widow/widower
• Notarized copy of document supporting name change (if applicable) - Adoption papers/ Deed Poll
• Parent's written consent (notarized) if under age 18Legal translation of documents to English where originals are in another language.

Completed ‘Wedding Agreement Form' Documents received will not be returned by the resort. Bride and groom must arrive in Jamaica at least 48 hours before the scheduled wedding to comply with legal requirements and allow ample time for final wedding arrangements. Ceremonies should be reserved at least 6 months in advance, however,shorter reservation periods will be considered, based on availability.

Arrangements for Your Marriage Certificate

Following the day of Your Wedding, the Marriage Officer will submit your marriage license to the Registrar General in order to obtain the marriage certificate. This process will take up to, 2 months therefore we will ensure that our team of dedicated and professional Wedding Co-ordinators send your precious document to you by mail.

Booking Your Wedding

As a result of Caribbean Wedding popularity, Paradise Resorts Jamaica advises you to request and book your chosen Villa & date as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment. You are the star of your show, therefore, we will only perform one Wedding per day.

In order to officially reserve & confirm your date, please provide us with written confirmation prior to your arrival. Note: all dates are subject to availability, however we aim to please and will support you in any way we can.
